Jerry Wright - Chairman
Jerry serves Beautiful Feet as a Board Member and member of the Marketing and HR Committees. He preaches from time to time at Beautiful Feet, is active in Kiwanis, is blessed with enthusiasm and a "give back" attitude seeking to help where he can. He is owner and President of AAA Glass, a Ft Worth company.
Mike Myers - President, Co-founder
Mike is Co-Founder, President Board of Directors of Beautiful Feet Ministries. He provides the vision and general guidance, as well as daily on-site leadership and management, a very "hands-on" Director.
Mike is a graduate of Mississippi State (pre-veterinary Science) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M-Div). He joined with other Seminary students in reaching out to the homeless in the inner city of Ft Worth, and this developed into his life-mission and Beautiful Feet Ministries, which he has guided for the past 30 years. He and his wife Sarah have 5 children.
Rueben Thompson - Vice President
Johnny Buckner - Co-founder
Johnny is Co-founder of Beautiful Feet with Mike Myers, Vice-President, and a Director, He has been a Director since the beginning. He is a resident of Mississippi and thus is the only Director who is not on-site at Beautiful Feet with frequency. None-the-less he is a valued member of our Director group.
For 30 years Johnny has served as an international missions leader, speaker, pastor, businessman and musician, mobilizing, training, establishing and influencing new and developing Christian mission movements targeting the least reached and most needy, particularly in Asia.
He is a graduate of Mississippi State (music) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminar (M-Div), and is reasonably fluent in Chinese and Thai. He currently serves as pastor of the New Horizons Christian Fellowship in Starkville MS, Executive Director of New Enterprises International (an interdenominational mission), and President of Northeast Custodial Services (a family business).
Lynda Tarwater - Secretary
Lynda Stevens-Tarwater received her Juris Doctor degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in Fort Worth in 2004. She recently left the law firm of Dunham & Jones, where she was a criminal defense trial attorney for the past 3-1/2 years, to open her own private practice and increase her representation of indigent defendants. She handles criminal defense cases from misdemeanor to first degree felony in Tarrant, Parker, Denton, Dallas and Johnson counties. Her work also includes parole representation. Prior to that, she worked for Foreman, Lewis & Hutchison in the areas of corporate, criminal, sexual harassment and personal injury law. She is licensed to practice in the State of Texas, in the United States District Court, Northern District, and also with the Supreme Court of the Chickasaw Nation. She has also argued before the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals at the State's capitol.
She has worked for the Tarrant County District Attorney's office in Economic Crimes; for the Probate Court as court visitor for wards of the state (children and senior citizen patients); in mediation and dispute resolution, and is a member of the Tarrant County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and Delta Theta Phi. Additional legal work included Social Security and family law work with the Law Clinic at Texas Wesleyan University School of Law, as well as work with urban clinics and will drafting for Legal Aid of Northwest Texas.
She graduated with academic honors from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1981 with a B.A. in Communications where she received a business scholarship from the Grace Gee Thornton Foundation. She has held positions on the Board of Directors with various organizations, including Junior Achievement, Parenting Guidance Center (consulting editor), Tarrant County Homeless Coalition, Mercy Heart (serving at-risk families and children in the crisis of incarceration), and H.O.W.W. (Helping Orphans and Widows Worldwide, Inc.) in Guatemala.
She is a community activist, volunteering with the inner city's poor and homeless for the past 10 years with Beautiful Feet Ministries, Inc. She has counseled women inmates at Federal Medical Center at Carswell Women's Prison, participated in Bill Glass Ministries. International work includes Tus Manos in Antigua, Guatemala (a shelter and soup kitchen for the homeless), in addition to feeding the children of Guatemala through H.O.W.W. She has taught criminal justice at Tarrant County Community College, is currently a faculty member of Bakke Graduate University in Seattle, Washington, where she teaches Law, Ethics & Spirituality, and volunteers with Tarrant County's RISE program (Reaching Independence Through Self-Empowerment) for prostitution offenders. She is also an entrepreneur and business owner, previously forming her own regional advertising agency where she acquired business-to-business clients and various government contracts for five years. Prior to practicing law, her business background includes writer/editor, stockbroker and marketing consultant.
Lynda Stevens-Tarwater applies her business experience, ministry experience and love for the Lord Jesus Christ as a voting Board member of Beautiful Feet Ministries and also holds the office of Secretary. She has been fully committed to Beautiful Feet Ministries for 10 years, is called by God to serve the homeless and defenseless, and has God's heart for sharing the gospel with every homeless and inner city person in Fort Worth. She is very knowledgeable in this segment of society's underprivileged and equipped to make a valuable contribution in this area of ministry, specifically on behalf of Beautiful Feet Ministries as a beacon of light and hope in dark and forgotten places. Above all, she desires that God's plans for Beautiful Feet Ministries become reality as an honor and tribute to His name and for His glory, and because of who He is and what He has done.

Doug McLeod - Board Member
Doug serves Beautiful Feet as a Board Member and lay minister, leader, teacher, and prayer warrior. He is a member of the Board's Spiritual, Strategic/Building and Finance Committees. He brings a business background to the Board – an entrepreneur and corporate executive for 22 years.
He was a founder of C.E. Services, which provided computer maintenance to users of large-scale IBM computers and peripheral equipment. He was a founder of Altai Software, which designed systems software for IBM computer systems. He is an ordained Deacon (1st Baptist Church, Keller TX), and answered the call to street ministry and to Beautiful Feet and has served here for the past 8 years.
