Mike MyersMike Myers - President, Co-founder

Mike is Co-Founder, President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beautiful Feet Ministries. He provides the vision and general guidance, as well as daily on-site leadership and management, a very "hands-on" Director.

Mike is a graduate of Mississippi State (pre-veterinary Science) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M-Div). He joined with other Seminary students in reaching out to the homeless in the inner city of Ft Worth, and this developed into his life-mission and Beautiful Feet Ministries, which he has guided for the past 30 years. He and his wife Sarah have 5 children.


Johnny BucknerJohnny Buckner - Co-founder

Johnny is Co-founder of Beautiful Feet with Mike Myers, Vice-President, and a Director, He has been a Director since the beginning. He is a resident of Mississippi and thus is the only Director who is not on-site at Beautiful Feet with frequency. None-the-less he is a valued member of our Director group.

For 30 years Johnny has served as an international missions leader, speaker, pastor, businessman and musician, mobilizing, training, establishing and influencing new and developing Christian mission movements targeting the least reached and most needy, particularly in Asia.

He is a graduate of Mississippi State (music) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminar (M-Div), and is reasonably fluent in Chinese and Thai. He currently serves as pastor of the New Horizons Christian Fellowship in Starkville MS, Executive Director of New Enterprises International (an interdenominational mission), and President of Northeast Custodial Services (a family business).


Fred CollinsFred Collins - Board Member

Fred is a member of the Finance Committee, Chairman of the Marketing Committee, and Chairman of the Building Committee. He also volunteers as a "Day Manager" at The Feet.

Fred was a key man in the building committee leadership for Gateway Church, Del Norte, CO and served there as an Elder. He has twenty years experience building and managing sales organizations including twelve years with Xerox Corp. The last fourteen years he operated The Heron Group, providing employee development training for various companies. He is an active member of McKinney Church in Fort Worth and serves on the church's Local Missions Committee.


Allen HoughAllen Hough - Board Member, Corporate Secretary

Allen also serves on the Executive Committee, the Finance Committee, the Marketing Committee, and the Building Committee.

He is founder and president of Callen Company, which for 25 years has provided guidance in project planning and general construction management to General Contractors in the US. He has participated in the leadership of numerous Dept. of Defense construction projects. Over a span of 35 years he was in project management for Southwestern Bell, Keebler and Procter & Gamble, and was President and a Director of the Ball Seed Company.

Before moving to Ft Worth he lived near Del Norte, CO, where he served as an Elder at Gateway Church and led their new worship center building project. He is an active member of Fort Worth's Travis Avenue Baptist Church.

"God led me to Beautiful Feet. I believe God places us where He needs us – we're to bloom where we're planted (Jeremiah 29). I was a stranger to town, and Fred Collins asked me to help. I know we are expected to serve ("whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me")."


Matt Hight - Board Member, Treasurer

Matt is also Chairman of the Finance Committee, and serves on the Executive Committee, the Marketing Committee. He is the Board member principally tasked with the job of guiding the finances of the Ministry, including fund-raising.

For a number of years Matt has been employed in Financial Services, first as a wealth manager for the world's largest wealth management firm and more recently as owner and operator of his own firm, where he applies faith based principles to investing, estate planning and gifting. He is an active member of First Baptist Church Mansfield, where he has served on the Church Council, the Stewardship Committee and in many other ministries.

For 3 years he has been an Upward Basketball Referee Coordinator, and for 7 years he has worked with Royal Ambassadors - a Bible-centered, church-based, Southern Baptist mission education organization for boys in grades 1-6. His experience with such youth programs will be important to our planning and on-going management.


Del Doss - Board Member

Del is an ordained lay pastor, he serves Beautiful Feet as teacher, advisor, prayer warrior, counselor, and leader, and regularly participates in the BF prison ministries. He is a member of the Board's Spiritual and Strategic/Building Committees. He has a bachelor's - U. of Missouri, master's in electrical engineering - U. of Tennessee. and a degree in business admin, El Centro College, Dallas.

Del retired after 25 years at General Dynamics/Lockheed in Fort Worth, Texas. He is now President of BTS Information Systems, Fort Worth, a company he started 25 years ago. He is an active member of Wedgwood Church in Ft Worth.


Reuban Thompson - Board Member

Reuben is part of the council of wisdom that makes our ministry tick. He plays a major role in helping Beautiful Feet plan to meet the needs of the community as a member of our Board's Strategic /Building and Spiritual Committees.

Reuben serves as senior minister at Community Christian Church Fort Worth, Texas. He has been in ordained ministry for over 11 years. He is a graduate from The College of new Rochelle School of New Resources and Lexington Theological Seminary in Lexington, Kentucky. Rev. Thompson leads his congregation in ministerial partnerships with Beautiful Feet each year.


Jerry Wright - Board Member

Jerry serves Beautiful Feet as a Board Member and member of the Marketing and HR Committees. He preaches from time to time at Beautiful Feet, is active in Kiwanis, is blessed with enthusiasm and a "give back" attitude seeking to help where he can. He is owner and President of AAA Glass, a Ft Worth company.


Doug MacLeodDoug McLeod - Board Member

Doug serves Beautiful Feet as a Board Member and lay minister, leader, teacher, and prayer warrior. He is a member of the Board's Spiritual, Strategic/Building and Finance Committees. He brings a business background to the Board – an entrepreneur and corporate executive for 22 years.

He was a founder of C.E. Services, which provided computer maintenance to users of large-scale IBM computers and peripheral equipment. He was a founder of Altai Software, which designed systems software for IBM computer systems. He is an ordained Deacon (1st Baptist Church, Keller TX), and answered the call to street ministry and to Beautiful Feet and has served here for the past 8 years.
